Organization Profile
Auction Packages for Events
Silent Auction Items/Packages A significant portion of our funding is realized through events. Silent and Live auction items are always greatly appreciated to help accent these events and generate more revenue for the House. If you have new and unique items, a timeshare you'd like to donate for a weekend, or anything else you think would be of interest to us for auction packages please contact us as soon as you're able.
Gift Cards for our Magic Room
Gift Cards & Passes The Magic Room is a very special place the children at the House get to visit when they have a successful surgery, get to go home, or are celebrating a special event while staying in the House. The kids get to enter a fantasy world in the Magic Room and leave with a brand new gift and a big smile! Though new toys are always appreciated for the Magic Room, gift cards for HMV, Best Buy, Future Shop etc. are greatly needed for the teenagers staying in the House while they undergo treatment.
Supplies for our Welcome Bags
Hygiene & Beauty In every room we include Welcome Bags for families checking in. Since we see a lot of families going through medical emergencies, and often common items are forgotten at home, we like to provide each family with some basic comforts. Toothpaste, non-scented soaps, toothbrushes, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, coloring books, crayons and teddy bears are all needed to help provide some basic comforts to the families when they check in.
Televisions
Electronics We try to provide all of the comforts of home to families staying at the House. In each of the 30 families suites in the House, we include televisions for the families. The current tv's that we have are unfortunately at the end of their lives and we would like to replace them with newer ones. We can accomodate 32" t.v.'s or smaller, and prefer flat screen if possible.
Tickets and Passes for our Recreation Program
Gift Cards & Passes Helping to keep families engaged and providing opportunities to experience what's happening in and around Edmonton is an important part of helping the families deal with the difficult situation they find themselves in. Passes and tickets for events, concerts and attractions are always appreciated. We extend these to the families to help them un-wind a bit and ensure their stay is as positive as possible.
