Providing in-home support for clients as their needs change with the progression of the disease and support in navigating the health care system.

Providing equipment free of charge for those registered with the ALS Society, which would cost the individual an average of $140,000 as the disease progesses and their needs change. For example, providing a porch lift so the individual can remain in their home while being in a wheelchair - or providing a bidet so that the individual can be cleaned after using the toilet which also assists the caregiver.
