Habitat for Humanity Calgary mobilizes volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Habitat for Humanity Calgary works with corporate, community and individual donors to raise funds to build the homes. We also require many volunteers to measure, cut and hammer.
ReStore is also an important enterprise that Habitat for Humanity Calgary operates. ReStore accepts donation of new and used furniture, appliances and building supplies and sells them to value shoppers. The proceeds from the ReStore helps support our operating costs.
