Childreach Centre

IT Support / Website Development - Assist in the maintenance and updating of the Childreach website. Help staff learn to use and implement different technology and software; including Adobe Design Suite and Microsoft Office. Assist with networking and individual computer issues. Experience making presentations on a Smart Board would be helpful too.

Clerical/Reception - Assistance is needed mornings to greet visitors, answer the phone, help with mailings, stuff envelopes, fold brochures, data entry, and miscellaneous office tasks.

Gardening - The Childreach building has just received an interior facelift, and the exterior could use one too. No experience necessary, just the desire to spend time in the sun.

Board Member - The Childreach Board of Directors ensures that we operate in an accountable and transparent way to maintain the trust of the community we serve. We are currently looking for individuals with experience in the Marketing and Education fields.

Playroom Volunteer - Enjoy the company of children 0 to 5 years of age in the playroom at Childreach or at one of our community locations. Read a story with child , talk to parents, supervise play and learn activities, assist with crafts and have fun! The playroom is open Mondays from 9:30 am to 12 noon, Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Community location opportunities are available too - mornings or afternoons.
